Paying it Forward
Through the years Debbie’s learned a lot from people she’s worked alongside, in many of the worlds she inhabited— in academia, as a stage actress, at the Guggenheim Museum, on Wall Street, as a wife and mom of 3 grown kids, as a cat and Golden Retriever dog owner (twice), living in the city and the country, living through 9-11, through family and friends and the loss of some dear ones, and of course, as a voiceover talent for the past two decades. As a result, she likes giving back in whatever ways she can, which means helping on both the client side and the talent side and sometimes providing pro-bono voiceover services to causes she’s passionate about. Debbie has always been a connector, introducing people to one another, providing helpful resources to aid in a project, or being a supportive ear when frustrations mount.
