Private Coaching FAQ
Tell me your backstory… by completing this form on my website (if you haven’t already) so that during our free 20-minute consultation, we’ll be efficient with our time. (You’ll get a link to schedule a chat once you submit the form.)
My philosophy is to help you improve in any way I think you can– in or out of the booth. I call it my 360° approach. Beyond performance and technical skills, I talk about self-care skills, writring skills, marketing suggestions, website / LinkedIn edits you might consider. Where I see something, I say something, in a supportive, constructive and solution-providing way, to increase your professionalism.
Private Coaching ($250/hour), is individualized based on where you are in your career, where you want to be and what’s standing in your way.
- 4 sessions($1,000)
- 8 sessions($2,000)
- 12 sessions($3,000)
Some students keep theirs in a piggy bank and use them for help on auditions or projects they’ve booked. Others apply them toward recording a demo.
If you’re interested in a demo, and we agree you’re ready, the demo production process involves:
- script selection (that’s tailored to you), review and rehearsal
- coaching/direction during the session
- review of the produced demo with you until your final approval
You’ll complete a registration form and then receive an invoice. My preference is to use Zelle or Venmo (we can make other arrangements if you’re outside the US) so we both avoid fees. All the details will be in the invoice.
You’ll receive an email with instructions on submitting an audio recording and room tone from your studio. Once that’s been received, you’ll get an eBook with scripts and course materials and a link to book your coaching sessions!
Coaching days are Tuesdays from 2:00 to 6:00 pm EST, Wednesdays from 2:00 to 6:00 pm EST and Thursdays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm EST. You can select what days and times work best for you within those windows.
It depends… some like to meet twice a week, some weekly, and some biweekly. Consistency and frequency build momentum and help concretize what you’re learning in our sessions and working on at home.
Life happens. And in this business bookings crop up with the least amount of notice. We will both give each other 48 hours notice of any changes. Sometimes that may not be possible and I will be as respectful and flexible with you as I hope you will be with me.
Absolutely. I don’t want to break you, but I do want to stretch you, so let me know if you can handle more, or need a lighter load because of other obligations in your life.
Maybe you haven’t booked any work yet, but you are committed to learning more about the world of voiceovers. Great! As long as you have the basics under your belt: a quality recording environment and the ability to record and edit your audio, we can work together.
Maybe someone else is wondering the same thing! Ask it, and if it would benefit others, we’ll add it to this white space below. 🙂
