It’s not every day that you get to work on something you feel passionately about. Recently, I narrated a PSA for the Environmental Protection Agency on the extremely relevant issue of clean water.
More than 40 years ago the United States passed the Clean Water Act into legislation. This law protects our rivers, streams and wetlands, and helps to stabilize our nation’s health and economy. However, there’s still more work to do.
According to a survey conducted by the EPA:
*Over 50% of the country’s rivers and streams are rated poorly.
*40% of stream miles have high levels of phosphorous.
*27% of stream miles have high levels of nitrogen.
